Deep admiral blue tile anchors the room, while custom millwork was finished to recall the warmth and character of weathered teak. Aged brass appears throughout as a nod to the beautifully patinated hardware found aboard classic sailing vessels, balanced by crisp white tile and natural stone.
The maritime references continue in the details. A rope-wrapped mirror and coordinating rope hardware bring in the texture of traditional linework, while a marine-style caged bulkhead sconce feels right at home alongside a collection of vintage-inspired sailing art.
Rather than creating an overtly nautical space, we borrowed from the colors, materials, and details that felt familiar to our clients’ time on the water. The result is polished, nostalgic, and deeply personal—a quiet reminder of years spent under sail.
